Andrew and Courtney got married at West Heath School in Sevenoaks in November 2019. It is a lovely venue, full of rich colours and opulent wood panelled rooms - just as well since the weather was a bit challenging that day, although we did make it outside for some pictures later.
Guests mingled in the main entrance hall...
The staircase made a fabulous backdrop as well as providing great angles.
Here's Courtney meeting her grandad who will give her away later - quite a lot of mirrors in the bride's 'getting ready' room, making a nice challenge for a photographer who doesn't want himself in the pictures!
Plenty of space too for pictures of the bride and her bridal party.
The staircase again providing a great place for shots as the bride made her way to the main room.
Finally we get to the excitement and action of the ceremony itself. The decoration of the room is fabulous - look at the background in the second picture.
I sometimes find that at the signing of the register, the most interesting pictures are of other people taking pictures.
Walking back down the aisle, music courtesy of some of the guests.
Again, you'll notice the delightful panelling in the receiving room.
Formal pictures were taken in the Ceremony room after the chairs had been removed - the colours and ornate decoration really help set it off.
The weather was good enough to get outside briefly for some photographs of the happy couple in the grounds of West Heath, and a group photograph at the back of the house.
Finally the evening wound down with speeches and dancing.
