Another new face to welcome to the world!
As I write this blog entry, it strikes me for the first time that when I am doing a newborn photoshoot, it's the only reliable time that the parents will happily put themselves in front of the camera. Wait until the children are 2 or 3 years old, or at school, and it's almost a certainty that mum and dad will not want to be in the photographs. There are probably some deeply significant lessons to be drawn out of that, but I'm only concerned with thinking of ways I can use this insight to cajole parents to get in front of the camera when baby has grown up a bit.
Obviously I can only make this comment if I show you a picture of mum and dad as well, so here we go... But before I do go, please remember that snuggly baby photographs are best done between 2 and 4 weeks after baby is born - baby is very happy then, and it seems the parents are happy to be photographed as well!
