I had a wonderful time in October with a two sisters and their young cousin. Dodging raindrops and damp bits of grass while still trying to get some lovely photographs of them playing outside. You can see that they needed to be wrapped up pretty warm, but a spot of kicking a football around soon warmed things up.
Of course it doesn't take too long before everyone needs to sit down so a change of speed and venue was called for. What nicer than a nice park bench to squeeze everyone onto!
Of course, English weather in October isn't that reliable so eventually we were forced inside. I always carry an excess of equipment on a photoshoot regardless of the weather, but today was always likely to involve a session with an extra large softbox for a back drop. Lots of good shots inside to complete the photoshoot.
I think a bit of hoodie can make for a great portrait.
Toys are always a good distraction to get a young person to ignore you!
And sometimes all the model wants is a bit of daddy time and a book...
I've also been having a bit of added fun recently with a fish-eye lens and cuddly toys...
