The wedding season is almost here again. Do get in touch with me if you are still looking for a wedding photographer who will provide you with great memories of your day from start to finish, highly flexible about albums, prints and image files, and all without getting under your feet while you are busy enjoying yourself! I still have availability for some weekends and many weekdays this year.
These photographs are from a wedding at Westerham Golf Club in 2015. You can read what the bride and groom said by going to their Google review.
My usual coverage for a wedding starts with the bride getting ready, but for this wedding they were happy for me to start at the venue with the groom finishing getting dressed.
We then moved on to guests arriving and being seated...
The arrival of the bride and the wedding ceremony...
And then on to the celebrations, the group shots, the speeches and the party!
I know that not many people like the idea of getting their headshot done - whether it's for work or their LinkedIn profile - but IT IS IMPORTANT! Seriously, if you don't believe me just put it into google - here's what you might get...
Really truly, a shot of you on the beach or at a party isn't going to do the job. It perhaps hints at how seriously you take your client's work. An old shot with outdated clothes might suggest that your ideas are out of date. Trying to represent a fresh and vibrant business - get an image that is fresh and vibrant. Link your look and your business, reinforce the message.
The headshots here are for a commercial law firm, done on location in their office (there's a shot of the set up at the bottom, but it doesn't have to be all that complicated). Warm and approachable, but serious and smart.
Have a look at your headshot, or what's on your company website - if you want to have a chat about refreshing things, please get in touch!
I was very pleased to be asked back to Radnor House Sevenoaks at the start of the 2016-17 term to help them update the photographs for their new website and brochures. They have recently changed name, uniform and moved to being a co-educational school - so quite a lot to cover then!
The photography took place over a number of days spread across a couple of months so that all the relevant events and shots could be covered.
You can see the photographs by heading over to their website (http://www.radnor-sevenoaks.org/), but some of my favourite pages are listed below:

There's not a lot that words can add to newborn baby photographs. It is always a delight to be taking photographs of a baby , and given how quickly they start growing and how busy and stressful the first few weeks are, it can all seem too much to get photographs organised on top of everything else - but it's worth it!
I try to take as much hassle out of the process as possible. I am happy to come to your house to take the photographs - along with bean bags, cushions, fluffy blankets and so on. I know from experience that whatever you think the feeding and sleeping schedule of your baby is, it won't be quite that on the day that I am there - so the session takes as long as it needs to, and I'm happy to wait until baby is settled and happy.
Enjoy this selection of newborn photographs, and do get in touch if you or someone you know is expecting soon!
My main belief for what makes a successful family photoshoot is that you need plenty of fun and adventure. That's what makes children (and parents) forget that they are having their photographs taken, and leaves them to be distracted and smile and enjoy themselves. And that's how you get happy and memorable photographs that let everyone's characters come through.
Knole Park has so much to offer for a family photoshoot that ticks all these boxes. It has my favourite wall in Kent (see above!), lots of long tree lines avenues, trees to sit on, deer to gaze at, and a cafe as well (essential since it's not a low energy type of photoshoot!).
On this shoot I was blessed with energetic parents who were quite happy to play catch, do piggyback rides and generally keen the energy levels nice and high!
Granted that January may not be the most appealing time to go on long walk, but some days can be just wonderful nonetheless, so don't write it off totally. Even if it is too cold for you now though, Spring is just around the corner so do get in touch and set something up!
